Pneumatic Rubber Fender
Pneumatic rubber fenders are widely used for ship-to-ship transfer, double banking, and ship-to-dock berths. They are preferably used in ports where the tides vary greatly. Jerryborg's fenders can be easily deflated, enabling simple and cost-effective relocation, providing protection in the dock and ship-to-ship mooring scenarios. We offer products in various sizes, and they can also be fitted with tires or chain nets to provide additional protection.
Pneumatic rubber fender is marine equipment used to prevent ships, ships, and other naval vessels from colliding with each other or crashing into docks, wharves, and piers. In other words, it can be simply called marine bumpers.
Pneumatic Rubber Fender Classification
According to international pneumatic rubber fenders, ABS pneumatic rubber fender systems are divided into two categories. From the appearance, there are two types of airtightness pneumatic fenders:
1. Initial Pressure 50 Kpa, P50 pneumatic fender
2. Initial Pressure 80 Kpa, P80 pneumatic fender
3. Type I, CTN Type, with chains and tire nets pneumatic marine rubber fender
4. Type II, Sling Type, without chains and tire nets pneumatic rubber fender
Pneumatic Rubber Fender Structure
① Outer rubber layer
The outer rubber layer uses special compounds that provide additional tensile strength and tear strength to protect the fender from severe weather conditions and frequent use.
② Synthetic-tire-cord layer
The reinforced layer is a composite tire cord with cross shadow lines, which is designed to distribute stress evenly.
③ Inner rubber layer
the inner rubber layer is specially designed to seal the internal air and prevent any leakage, just like the inner tube of a tire.
