Marine Rubber Fender
Marine rubber fender has been used in port, harbor, and maritime operations for decades since it was developed in 1958. With the development of ship technology, this product is used extensively in ship-to-ship transfer operations and ship mooring and berthing operations. It’s always regarded as a buffer to reduce shock in between due to its excellent performance of great elasticity and abrasion-resistance.
Marine rubber fender is marine equipment used to prevent ships, ships, and other naval vessels from colliding with each other or crashing into docks, wharves, and piers. In other words, it can be simply called marine bumpers.
Marine Rubber Fender Classification
Air inflation buffers are produced with two initial pressure ratings, which are pneumatic 50 (P50, initial internal pressure 50kPa) and pneumatic 80 (P80, initial internal pressure 80kPa).

Marine Rubber Fender Structure
① Outer rubber layer
Air inflation buffers are covered by the outer layer made of natural rubber. The outer rubber layer uses special compounds that provide additional tensile strength and tear strength to protect the fender from severe weather conditions and frequent use.
② Synthetic-tire-cord layer
The Synthetic-tire-cord layer is made of synthetic-tire-cord fabrics, compared with synthetic canvas fabric and synthetic belt fabric, this reinforcement layer performs better in fatigue-resistance and pressure-holding.
③ Inner rubber layer
The inner layer is designed to seal the air inside the fender.
