Durable Inflatable Rubber Fender
Durable inflatable rubber fenders are widely used for ship-to-ship transfer, double banking, and ship-to-dock berths. They are preferably used in ports where the tides vary greatly. Jerryborg's durable inflatable rubber fenders can be easily deflated, enabling simple and cost-effective relocation, providing protection in dock and ship-to-ship mooring scenarios. We offer products in various sizes, and they can also be fitted with tires or chain nets to provide additional protection.
Durable inflatable rubber fender is marine equipment used to prevent ships, ships, and other naval vessels from colliding with each other or crashing into docks, wharves, and piers. In other words, durable inflatable rubber fenders can be simply called marine bumpers.
Fully compliant with the ISO17357 standard, Jerryborg’s durable inflatable rubber fender supplies with a variety of specifications and dimensions to meet customer’s requests and different application conditions.
Durable Inflatable Rubber Fender Classification
According to international pneumatic rubber fenders, durable inflatable rubber fender systems are divided into two categories. From the appearance, there are two types of durable inflatable rubber fenders:
1.Initial Pressure 50 Kpa, P50 pneumatic fender
2.Initial Pressure 80 Kpa, P80 pneumatic fender
3.Type I, CTN Type, with chains and tire nets
4.Type II, Sling Type, without chains and tire nets
Durable Inflatable Rubber Fender Structure
① Outer rubber layer
Durable inflatable rubber fenders are covered by the outer layer made of natural rubber. This rubber compound is strong enough to protect the inner layer and synthetic-cord layer from the damage of external forces and severe weather conditions due to its high elasticity and abrasion resistance.
② Synthetic-tire-cord layer
The Synthetic-tire-cord layer is made of synthetic-tire-cord fabrics, compared with synthetic canvas fabric and synthetic belt fabric, this reinforcement layer performs better in fatigue-resistance and pressure-holding.
③ Inner rubber layer
The inner layer is designed to seal the air inside the fender.
Durable Inflatable Rubber Fender Advantage
1. Safe and Reliable
Durable inflatable rubber fender is made of several strong cord layers to enable it to be pressure-resistant and puncture-resistant. The durable inflatable rubber fender whose diameter is over 2.5m is equipped with a safety valve to release the air inside in case it’s overpressured. The diagram below shows the data variations at different percentage compressions.
2. No Variation or Deformation in Performance
Durable inflatable rubber fender is filled with the air of compressive elasticity inside, the deformation caused by fatigue is absent. In the experiment below of durable inflatable rubber fender, the performance variation will not happen if the pressure is maintained properly.
Our durable inflatable rubber fender remains the same without any variation or deformation even at temperatures under -50 degrees centigrade (-58 degrees Fahrenheit).
