Durable Hydro Pneumatic Fender
Durable hydro pneumatic fender is used in catamarans, semi-submersible platforms, and drilling rigs for a long time. This durable hydro pneumatic fender is filled with water and air inside to make it vertically installed against submerged hulls with a counterweight. It’s always regarded as a buffer to reduce shock in between due to its excellent performance of great elasticity and abrasion-resistance.
Durable hydro pneumatic fenders are made of natural rubber and tire cord reinforcement in the shape of cylindrical, which is strong enough to withstand external forces and severe weather conditions.
Fully compliant with the ISO17357 standard, Jerryborg’s durable hydro pneumatic fender supplies with a variety of specifications and dimensions to meet customer’s requests and different application conditions.
Durable Hydro Pneumatic Fender Structure
① Outer rubber layer
Durable hydro pneumatic fenders are covered by the outer layer made of natural rubber. This rubber compound is strong enough to protect the inner layer and synthetic-cord layer from the damage of external forces and severe weather conditions due to its high elasticity and abrasion resistance.
② Synthetic-tire-cord layer
The Synthetic-tire-cord layer is made of synthetic-tire-cord fabrics, compared with synthetic canvas fabric and synthetic belt fabric, this reinforcement layer performs better in fatigue-resistance and pressure-holding.
③ Inner rubber layer
The inner rubber layer is designed to seal the air inside the fender.
Durable Hydro Pneumatic Fender Advantage
1. Lower Maintenance Expenses
The maintenance expenses mainly include the cost of checking air leakage and replacing the old chain net. Due to the good performance of pressure-holding, the air leakage can be checked only once a year and the chain net has a lifespan of 3 or 4 years depending on environmental conditions.
